Why are morning routines so important to have a great day?

There is a list of reasons why everyone talks about morning routines these days. And all of them are good ones!

Maybe you are searching for ways to better the current morning routine, or perhaps you’re new to the whole topic and uncertain about where to begin. Whatever your reason, this blog post is for you and promises an efficient, tailor-made routine even if you’re not a "morning person".  

 

The power of a well-structured routine

Some days, you wake full of energy, and on other days you might feel sluggish. But a solid routine can get you a decent productive day no matter what happens in the morning. It will save all your ‘spoons’ of energy and decision-making power for the rest of the day when the real battles await you. 

Just imagine starting each day feeling rejuvenated and invigorated, ready to tackle the challenges that lie ahead. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Here’s what I’ve found a morning routine can sort out for you:

 

It empowers you and gets you in control of you day

When you have a bunch of tasks, it's easy to rush through them without a plan. But with a solid morning routine, you can stay in control. You'll finish each little step of it on time and feel like you're on top of everything very early in your day.

Stress reduction

Moreover, the morning is the perfect time for meditation or prayer, and exercise. When you start your day with any of these, you'll feel more at ease and capable of handling your responsibilities. Each is a great way to lower stress and find inner calm.

Boosting up your energy

Personally, I've noticed that waking up early and exercising or taking a walk brings me joy. On the other hand, when I wake up late and rush through my day, I end up feeling drained. That's because I neglected my own wellness. That said, a routine that includes both mental and physical activities can keep you energetic and enthusiastic.

Jack up your confidence

A tailor-made routine keeps you engaged and ensures you start your day on time and with the right energy. In essence, having enough time for everything and completing tasks promptly boosts your confidence and makes you feel like you can achieve anything that day!

The best steps of my morning routine

Below, I list the ultimate favorites - mine and the wonderful empowered women that confide in my products. Give any of these steps a chance to fit into your morning routine and see your power and energy rise.

  • Water and lemon juice help me fully awaken my body and soul. Vitamin C early in the day will improve your energy levels. Also… water before coffee. 
  • Skincare - I do it simply and mindfully. My first choice is products made with locally sourced, and 100% natural ingredients.
  • Calmness -  whether through reading my Bible, meditation, journaling, or prayer, I aim to feel closer to God and a moment of calm every morning. 
  • Eat a light breakfast - I’ve learned eating a light breakfast within 30-60 min after waking up helps to control my sugar and energy levels.
  • Exercise - 10 to 30 minutes I devote to my physical health. I approach my work with renewed energy and productivity, knowing I've laid a solid foundation for success.
